Wednesday night bible study proved to be most interesting: Bro. Jim Stewart, bringing to thought the security of our salvation and the liberty from the dominion of sin in our lives. He brought out several scriptures that confirm our belief in salvation and liberty.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.
John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
As Pastor Dean, stated we do not get saved over and over again. Once we have received Christ in our lives, we become of His Kingdom, His Family, Sons and Daughters. When we stray as the one that strayed from the 99, upon returning to the flock we do not become saved again, we repent of our choices that separated us from God. God is a God of forgiveness. He forgives us of our iniquities, transgressions and our sins. (Exodus 34:7)
